Learn to make Photorealistic VRay Grass with VRay Fur | VRay 5 Materials Library

VRay Grass & VRayFur

In this tutorial, we are going to discover how to setup realistic-looking VRay grass by using VRayFur modifier. This setup is very easy, and it comes with grass materials if you use VRay 5.

As you can see with every new version of VRay, it becomes much easier and faster to set up photorealistic environment. Today we just had a quick glance at new VRay 5 materials library for 3DsMax. However, in the near future, we are going to explore it in-depth this amazing new materials library and see how we can use those in our 3D scenes.

This tutorial was made as self-help for Gregorio from Mexico, and I do hope it will be useful for everyone that is going to watch it.

If you do struggle with VRay and want to clarify some functions or features of new VRay 5 – You are more than welcome to send me your questions, and I’ll do my best in providing you with a solution/video tutorial that shows how to deal with that technique.
