The VRscans plugin is the part of V-Ray (versions 3.5 and above) which provides the UI for importing, modifying and using the VRscans materials in the supported platforms:
- V-Ray for 3ds Max
- V-Ray for Maya
- V-Ray for Sketchup
- V-Ray for Rhino
- V-Ray for Modo
- V-Ray for Revit (partial support; please contact email@example.com)
After receiving a VRscans license and restarting your application, you should be able to see the interface for the VRscans materials within the V-Ray Material Editor.
When you purchase a license for the VRscans Plugin, you automatically receive a one-year subscription for the VRscans library.
You get 11 free VRscans specific render nodes* with each plugin license. System requirements are the same as V-Ray 3.5 and above for Max, Maya, Sketchup, Rhino, MODO and Revit.
* The VRscans render nodes are usable only in case of having the same number or more of V-Ray Universal Render nodes
