UE4 INTERIOR LIGHTING
In this video tutorial, I’m going to show you how fully setup your UE4 INTERIOR LIGHTING. This method showed pretty good Lightmass baking results.
This time we are going to use VRay lights and manipulate them in order to get closer to the original VRay Render.
This time Sunlight was not that intense 10=lux but secondary bouncing was 15!
So it’s a good trick to balance your light and get a better-looking lightmass bake.
Also, the Sky was giving 3 bounces, as additional illumination ramp-up for the overall ambiance.
If you want to get good results and understand how all this works, you need to practice those skills. Do a couple of lightmass bakes in your scene, first with more intense lights, then with less and more secondary bounces.
Those tests will give you a sense of how the lighting being baked.
I’ve lined up here the complete process of how to prepare and set up your interior lighting.
Your task is to test and see what works better. That way you can do it later on your own!
