GPU Environment Fog | VRay NEXT for 3Ds Max

GPU Environment Fog

Hey! Check this crazy speed of GPU Environment Fog with VRay NEXT 3.1 for 3Ds Max.

Thanks to NVIDIA AI denoiser this render gets polished in seconds! Just keep it light and you will not have to render. I mean you will not have to spend time waiting for your render anymore. The viewport update is almost instant. And with fast graphics cards, such as NVIDIA RTX you can have it x20 faster.

GPU Render is the fastest way to get feedback on your lighting and the overall environment look.

As you can see it is very easy to switch from day to night and get everything updated in seconds. (In this example I’ve used NVIDIA GTX 1070 8GB)

Thanks to VRayAtmosphere and VRayDenoiser (rendering elements) we can see exactly whats going on with our lighting right away.

With such an instant lighting update, you can start digging in and “design with light” your architectural forms. Have your lights in perfect balance with the entire scene.

Exterior lighting is a complex procedure when it comes to dusk/or evening atmosphere. With Environment Fog you can create a real-life situation since such depth is not present in your scene – UNLESS YOU ADD IT!

Have fun playing around with this scene and follow this tutorial steps for quicker results
